Couple Session | NC Museum of Art Raleigh NC | Raleigh Wedding Photographer

I decided to do a sunrise session at the NC Museum of Art right after shooting a wedding the night before… WHEW I sure was TIRED but I’m telling you it was worth it!!! The yummy golden sun came out for a literal split second but sadly hid away, luckily NC museum of Art does not disappoint!!!

Amanda & Ruben been married for now 6 years and their love was as new as white tennis shoes you buy on pay day (corny I know) But really though they are so in love and I’m so honored to have had the chance to document their love!

Amanda and Rebun recently travelled to their beloved Mexico and I absolutely LOVE how they incorporated traditional and Latin inspired pieces for their wardrobe. They even brought back a one way finger trap from mexico! Here is what Amanda says about this cute tradition:

“If you look closely there is a one way finger trap. In Taxco, Guerrero Mexico...the couples buy these and the guy use the trap to get her pointer finger and pulls her close. When they walk they can not be separated.also everyone knows they are together. I thought it was only fitting for our Anniversary!!”

Working with was full of laughter, sweet moments, shared stories of travel and them hearing me say YASSSSSS a million times. Thank you Mr and Mrs Ocampo for letting me document your sweet love. Also thank you Amanda for the beautiful mexican garb I love it so much!!
